Introduction

The Negro Motorist Green Book ( also known as The Negro Motorist Green-Book , The Negro Travelers' Green Book or simply the "Green Book"), among other titles, was an annual travel guidebook for African-Americans published from 1936 to 1966, during the era of Jim Crow laws.
