Faculty Profiles  

The Library helps maintain the University's Faculty Profiles guide. This guide provides information on Bethune-Cookman University faculty, including their research interests, accomplishments and activities, and brief biographical details.

  • For more information, please see  Adding or Updating a Faculty Profile page
  • Faculty Profiles is an initiative of RISE QEP. Dr. Sarah Krejci is the Director.
  • The QEP office is on the 2nd Floor of the Library, on the north side of the building, behind the glass door.
  • Each semester, emails are sent announcing opportunities to have a professional headshot taken.
    • All Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to have a headshot taken.

Faculty and Staff Branding Opportunities

In June 2024, the Marketing and Communications Department, under Dr. Crystal DeGregory's new leadership, offered its first Brand Clinic.  

Be on the outlook for more sessions to be offered, including:

  • information on how to be registered as a resource for external interview opportunities.
  • times and places to have a professional headshot taken. 
    • (Also, as mentioned in the Faculty Profiles section above, QEP also offers headshot opportunities for faculty and staff).

Chronicle of Higher Education

The Chronicle of Higher Education 

The Library provides campus-wide access to the premium content of the Chronicle.

  • If you are on campus or using B-CU VPN : Go to Chronicle.com for access. 
  • If you are accessing remotely (without B-CU VPN) : Go to Chronicle.com and Sign In to your (free) account.if you already have one, for access.
  • If you do not already have a free account, follow these steps:

1. Go to Chronicle.com and click the “Sign In” link at the top right-hand side of the page.

2. Click the “Sign Up” link to create a free individual account using your  B-CU email address. 

3. Activate your account by confirming your email address in the email sent by The Chronicle.

  • Interested in the Chronicle's daily newsletters?
  • They can be signed up for through the individual account.
