Student Login Information: Home

This guide provides information on student logins for library databases, BCU Gmail, Wildcat Web and BCU Computer Network

Steps to fix login problems are below

We are sorry you are having a problem logging into one of the B-CU resources.  Below are links to information that will help you resolve four of the most common login problems.

Login Information for Students

If you are off-campus (remote user) and can't access a library database, click this button. Before you begin, be sure you know your B-CU Gmail login information  (for help use the GMAIL Account information button on this page.)

If you can't access your  B-CU Gmail account, click this button.

If you are on-campus and can't access the B-CU computer network, click this button.

Summary of login and password information

Below is a summary of the steps mentioned in this guide. For more detailed information use the buttons above

Several of your user names are similar, (see below) but passwords will differ.  CIT sent passwords to students which look something like this: Fj8pl9.

Check your personal email for an email from BCU. You can do a search of your email for the subject “IMPORTANT - Your BCU Login Information” . This email will have your credentials to login to the Wildcat Web, B-CU gmail and the B-CU Computer Network.  Below is a summary of the steps- but for more details use the above buttons to access a longer explanation of the steps...

 Library Databases  (when off-campus) 

 1. Click on 

2. A library search box  should appear, At the top right corner, click on the Sign In button.

3. Your Gmail sign in box should then appear. Enter your full B-CU email address in the signin box.


Check that you have keyed in the plural word students (not student) in your email address

4. Then enter your B-CU Gmail password.

5. The library search box will display again. On the far left, select the Resources button and select Databases from the dropdown. 

B-CU gmail:

User name:

Check that you have keyed in the plural word students (not student) in your email address

Password: If you have forgotten your B-CU gmail password, there is a password reset link  after you enter your user name .

B-CU Computer Network:

User name: First part of your B-CU email address.

     Example: firstname.mi.lastname

Password: find the email CIT sent you with all login information.  (If you can't find the email, use the BCU Network Password Reset tool - Use your phone to send a blank email to Student must use their B-CU email account to send this email and  in a few minutes you will receive  a new password (which you can change later to something you can remember) Now available 24/7.


Wildcat Web:

Username:  Student I.D. number (Your I.D. number is on your Wildcat I.D. card)

Password: use link on the Wildcat Web page to re-set password if you cannot find the email CIT sent you with all your login information.
