Databases

The Library has many subscription journal databases available for research.

Before You Start- Are You Logging in from Off-Campus?

  • Like all libraries the B-CU Library has a number of subscription databases that require users who access the databases from off-campus to first log-in as a B-CU User. (A few databases are open access, free for all to use, and so provider does not require a login).
  • When you click a database link and a login screen appears :
    • Your  username is your  B-CU Gmail address and your password is your B-CU Gmail password

There are several ways to access the databases:

1 . From the Library homepage

On the library home page, click the green menu icon  Search Databases. This will take you to a list of databases. There are dropdown  menus for narrowing the list to Subject, Type and other criteria. There is also a search box if you know the name of the database you want to search

2. From a Research Guide ( also called a "libguide")

On the library home page, click the green menu icon Research Guides This will take you to a list of research guides arranged by subject. There are dropdown  menus for narrowing the list to other criteria. And there is also a search box. Each guide will have a list of recommended databases.

For your convenience, here are links to research guides that focus on disciplines related to B-CU Masters Programs. (But there probably will be related research guides you will find helpful and the list of all research guides by subject will be helpful))
