Betty Story

Brief Biographical Sketch

Betty Story-Westlake has been working at Bethune-Cookman University as a librarian for 10 years. She enjoys working with students and faculty on their research projects. She is passionate about the role of libraries and patrons’ access to information. She attended the University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida. Betty Story has been a librarian at B-CU's Carl Swisher Library since 2011.  Previously she was a librarian in the Virgin Islands, Switzerland, and Japan. She received her MLIS from the University of South Florida. She does not believe the Internet will replace libraries. She enjoys reading, many outdoor activities and also meditation and yoga.  She has 2 grandsons.
