Ms. Gibson was born and raised in Daytona Beach and attended Bonner Elementary, Turie T. Small Elementary, Campbell Jr.-Sr. High School, and Bethune-Cookman College. School has always been a main focus for her and she has enjoyed the years invested in scholarship. Learning was fascinating and there were many subjects to take on to increase her ability to communicate and transact business.
Before graduating from high school, students were allowed to attend Bethune-Cookman College during the summer for college prep courses. This was very encouraging and made you want to continue your education. Therefore, upon graduation, Bethune-Cookman was where she chose to further her education especially since she had acquired many employment skills during her junior/senior high school years.
