Brief Biographical Sketch

Mrs. Laura Quatrella has been at Bethune-Cookman University since 2008. She provides reference services and teaches information literacy and library instruction workshops for students in all disciplines and class levels and also for faculty.  She enjoys working with students and faculty on their research projects and promoting lifelong learning. Mrs. Quatrella earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Hartford; and Masters of Library and Information Science from the Southern Connecticut State University. Born and raised in Connecticut, Mrs. Quatrella also lived in Seattle, WA before moving to Florida. She has been a librarian in academic libraries, public libraries and public school libraries.
